Violinist Pauline Kim Harris cultivates a multi-faceted career whose versatility keeps her in high demand both in the United States and abroad. First appearing as soloist with orchestra in Los Angeles at the age of 8, she quickly went on to become the youngest student to be accepted into the final masterclass of Jascha Heifetz. A multi-scholarship winner of the Young Musicians Foundation, she appeared with the YMF Debut Orchestra at Royce Hall under the baton of Lalo Shifrin. Pauline Kim Harris made her debut at Ravinia Festival on the "Rising Starts" Series and has been a featured artist on PBS and WQXR's "Listening Room." Most recently, she appeared on NPR's "Tiny Desk" Concerts backing singer-songwriter/composer Gabriel Kahane. Since graduating from the Juilliard School (Dorothy DeLay/Masao Kawasaki) Pauline Kim Harris has extended into a spectrum of genres leading to a Grammy Nomination for "Olde School" album with the East Village Opera Company (Decca/Universal).
