Professor Layton and the Last Specter [Chapter 4: The Shadowy Manipulator]

The town was saved, and the Specter vanished just as quickly as it had appeared. But the farm-girl knew that in times of danger, she needed only to play the flute and the Specter would appear again." Travelling to the rural town of Misthallery, Professor Layton finds himself caught up in a battle with the legendary Specter - a being whose immense power is slowly reducing the town to rubble, leaving nothing but pain and misery in its wake. With his new assistant, Emmy Altava, in tow, the Professor visits the home of his old friend Clark Triton - now the mayor of Misthallery, who's struggling with dealing with both the Specter! 's destructive rampage and the growing divide between himself and his young son, Luke. The Professor decides to have a talk with Luke, eventually enlisting his help against the Specter. And thus, a legendary partnership is formed. Just what is the Specter? And why is it adamant on destroying the peaceful town of Misthallery?
